About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Pulmonology
  • Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Craig Eisentrout has lived in Cincinnati since 1978, after completing his engineering degree at Northwestern. He has practiced at TriHealth since 1993 as a Pulmonary and Intensive Care physician. He feels honored to serve the TriHealth system in other capacities as well, including being Medical Staff President and a member of the Board of Trustees, for whom he chaired the Quality Committee.

Dr. Eisentrout's current clinical activities are focused primarily on thoracic oncology. He is the director of the Lung Nodule Clinic and the Lung Cancer Screening Program for TriHealth. His inspiration to be a physician comes from his patients—he feels privileged to see them and enjoys the reward that comes from the relationship of trust that develops.

Outside of work, he loves to play golf, build and fly radio-controlled aircraft, and pass along those passions to his three grandchildren.

I love the care team that I have gathered to help me with my medical issues. Dr. Eisentrout it one of the doctors in my care team. Actually he is the longest member of that team. He has seen me go through a lot of issues. He has helped me through a lot of difficult issues. I think he is the best pulmonary doctor that I could have asked for. I will continue to go him forever.
