Robotic-Assisted Surgery at Bethesda North Hospital
Bethesda North Hospital is the first suburban hospital in Greater Cincinnati to employ robotic-assisted surgery, acquiring the technology in 2007. Leveraging the pioneering expertise at its sister hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda North makes this technology accessible to patients in the northern corridor of our community.
A Range of Conditions Treated
Urologist Mark Delworth MD treats prostate cancer through robotic-assisted surgery, and he has performed more than 500 procedures. He is supported by a fully trained team of qualified nurses and other staff who support the robotic surgery program in urology. Bethesda North physicians also utilize robotics for a variety of gynecology and cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
