At TriHealth, we understand that choosing a quality health care provider and having the means to pay for health care services are important to you. Although sifting through information on pricing and quality can seem overwhelming, we hope this information can aid you in making an informed decision about your care.

In this section, you’ll find information related to the quality of our care, see basic prices for selected key services and understand the types of financial assistance available to you.
You also can go more in depth into our quality improvement efforts in our Quality Matters section. But before accessing our price and quality information, there are a few important things to keep in mind.
1. The amount you pay will depend on the actual services rendered, the kind of insurance plan you have and your eligibility for financial assistance. As a general rule – contact your insurer to determine your financial responsibility, if you are insured.
2. The measurement and reporting of hospital quality for comparison purposes is still relatively new. Consumers, employers, insurers and providers are searching for a consensus on what areas to measure and how to make meaningful, fair comparisons between hospitals. Such comparisons are difficult because:
- Hospitals have different service offerings.
- Hospitals provide care to varying patient groups. Each patient group may have different health outcomes because of variances in health problems, behaviors (smoking, diet and exercise, for example) socioeconomic status and environmental influences.
This means that you as the consumer need to be discerning when reviewing information about hospital quality.
