With an anticipated opening in Fall 2010, Good Samaritan Medical Center at Western Ridge will offer 45,000 square feet of health care services and physician offices in a convenient location less than a mile from the Harrison/Rybolt Exit off of Interstate 74.
Health services at Good Samaritan Western Ridge
will be digitally connected to Good Samaritan Hospital. They will include:
- Full-service, 24-hour Emergency Department
- Comprehensive imaging
- 24-hour comprehensive laboratory services
- Primary care and specialist physician offices
Full-service Emergency Department
Good Samaritan Western Ridge will have a fully functional, 24-hour Emergency Department with a helipad. Physician coverage will be provided by highly qualified, board-certified emergency medicine physicians. Nurses will be specially trained in emergency nursing and will hold ACLS and PALS certification. Services that support the Emergency Department, including the lab and diagnostic radiology, will be offered 24-hours a day.
Good Samaritan Hospital-quality outpatient services
Along with the Emergency Department, outpatient services will be provided on the first floor of Good Samaritan Western Ridge. These include comprehensive imaging services, including X-ray, computed tomography (CT), mammography, dexa scan, and shelled space for future magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); and 24-hour laboratory services.
On-site physicians
Physician offices will be located on the second floor of Good Samaritan Western Ridge. Combining primary care and specialist physician offices and diagnostics in the same building will facilitate physician and patient access, as well as promote integration and high quality of care.
Connected to Good Samaritan Hospital
Good Samaritan Western Ridge will employ practices and procedures with the support of state-of-the-art information technology to deliver health services in a patient-centered way. The facility will be connected digitally to Good Samaritan Hospital, which will allow physicians at the hospital and Western Ridge to transmit records and test results back and forth for consultation. It also will ensure that records and test results are immediately available when patients need to be transferred from the Western Ridge Emergency Department to the hospital.

Convenient location
Built through a partnership with commercial developers Bremner-Duke, Good Samaritan Medical Center at Western Ridge is the first phase of development on a 34-acre piece of land at the Harrison/Rybolt Exit off of I-74. This location is easily accessible for the growing population on the West Side. As a result of TriHealth's mission to improve the health status of our community, the location was chosen because it allows Good Samaritan Hospital to extend its services to areas where they are most needed.
