The Hatton Institute
The E. Kenneth Hatton MD Institute for Research and Education is the investigative arm of TriHealth. We direct research and education efforts through an active medical research program and a comprehensive academic program in graduate medical education. The Hatton Institute seeks to advance the detection and treatment of disease and enhance patient care, thereby supporting TriHealth's guiding mission: To improve the health status of the people we serve.
Pursuing Innovation and Healthcare Improvement
The Hatton Institute supports the research and education activities of staff physicians and surgeons, teaching faculty, residents, and allied health professionals in TriHealth. We conduct clinical research projects and trials in the following medical specialties:

We continue to explore the use of innovative technologies, counting among its resources a leading-edge minimally invasive surgical training center that houses procedure simulators and a robotic da Vinci Surgical System for teaching and research.
