The TriHealth Hatton Research Institute houses the formally organized investigative functions of TriHealth. We develop, support, and direct research and education efforts through a dynamic medical research program and a comprehensive academic program in graduate medical education. The TriHealth Hatton Research Institute seeks to advance the detection and treatment of disease and enhance patient care, thereby supporting TriHealth's guiding mission: To improve the health status of the people we serve.
Pursuing Innovation and Healthcare Improvement
The TriHealth Hatton Research Institute supports the creation and conduct of research and education activities of staff physicians and surgeons, teaching faculty, residents, and allied health professionals in TriHealth. We conduct clinical research projects and trials in many medical specialties:

We continue to explore the use of innovative technologies and strategies. The TriHealth Hatton Research Institute is a well-known leader, counting among its resources a leading-edge minimally invasive surgical training center that features procedure simulators and a robotic da Vinci Surgical System for teaching and research. This center has provided education and learning experiences for thousands of clinicians from around the country.
