Construction is underway on a new TriHealth facility that is scheduled to open in summer 2013 in Anderson Township. The 22,000-square-foot medical office building is on Asbury Road just off Beechmont Avenue. The property, which is owned by Duke Realty and operated by TriHealth, will house a cardiology physician practice, cardiology diagnostic services, imaging and also provide laboratory services.
TriHealth Heart Institute physicians will have offices for their practices at the new site. Cardiology diagnostic services will include echo, stress echo, nuclear stress and vascular ultrasound. Imaging services will include CT, MRI, mammography, dexa scan, ultrasound, X-ray, non-cardiac nuclear and non-cardiac vascular.
“The decision to expand services into Anderson was driven by a number of factors – including the close relationship the TriHealth Heart physicians have with their Anderson Township patients, the number of primary care and other referring physicians in the township, and the need for additional outpatient services for TriHealth-loyal patients in Anderson,” said Jerry Oliphant, TriHealth’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “We anticipate gaining enhanced market visibility through providing these unified diagnostic and medical services at one convenient location. This additional location supports our goal to make heart care more accessible and to provide more comprehensive services in Cincinnati.”
The TriHealth Heart Institute represents one unified program of comprehensive cardiac services available at multiple hospitals: Bethesda North, Bethesda Butler County, and Good Samaritan, and locations throughout Cincinnati. TriHealth has long been nationally regarded as a premier provider of heart services, and Bethesda North and Good Samaritan hospitals are known for bringing the latest and greatest heart treatment options to the tri-state, such as cryoablation for atrial fibrillation and robotic-assisted surgery for a variety of complex heart procedures, and the TriHealth heart team has grown even stronger with the employment of heart specialists from the Cardiology Center of Cincinnati and Cardiology Associates of Cincinnati.
