TriHealth welcomes five local, experienced and well respected orthopedic surgeons along with approximately 35 members of their staff to the TriHealth Orthopedic and Spine Institute. The Institute is now one of the largest in the region with 20 orthopedic surgeons and 11 physical medicine and sports medicine specialists.
These five physicians continue to see their patients at their current office locations (see below). Patients now benefit from the comprehensive range of services available in the integrated TriHealth system, including primary care and specialty physicians, Bethesda and Good Samaritan hospitals, and a medical fitness and health pavilion.

James R. Leonard, MD - A native of Cincinnati and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Leonard has been providing quality, compassionate care for patients with bone, muscle and joint problems since 1986. His surgical expertise ranges from arthroscopy to total joint replacements including direct anterior hip replacement surgery.
Kevin E. Reilly, MD - A native of Cincinnati and graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Reilly was named a team physician for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2011. He also serves as the team physician for St. Xavier High School as well as several other area high schools. Dr. Reilly has a particular interest in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy and sports medicine.
Christopher J. Ruhnke, MD - Dr. Ruhnke has been practicing orthopedic and sports medicine in Cincinnati since 2007, after practicing in his home state of New Jersey the previous decade. He specializes in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery.
Mark A. Snyder, MD - A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Snyder is the Director of the Orthopedic Center of Excellence at Good Samaritan Hospital, which in 2011 received the area's first Gold Seal Award from the Joint Commission for excellence in total hip and knee replacement. Dr. Snyder has completed over 10,000 primary and revision total knee and hip replacement surgeries.
Joel I Sorger, MD - Dr. Sorger is one of just a few Orthopedic Oncologists in the state of Ohio. His work with tumors includes Ewing's Sarcoma, Osteosarcoma and other malignancies that involve the musculoskeletal system. He currently divides his work with oncology patients and those needing general orthopedic surgery including total joint replacement.
