Robotic Surgery

Bethesda North Hospital is the first suburban hospital in Greater Cincinnati to employ robotic surgery, acquiring the da Vinci Surgical System in 2007. Leveraging the pioneering expertise at TriHealth’s Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda North makes robotic technology accessible to patients in the northern corridor of our community.

TriHealth Now Using Latest da Vinci Xi Platform for Robotic Surgeries

Bethesda North is the first adult hospital in Cincinnati with this technology. It uses multiple-port access and/or single-site access to allow physicians greater ease in performing the most complex surgical cases.

"Everybody's got a robot now. Some have two. But our emphasis is on very complex procedures. We don't feel there's any need to go to a Cleveland Clinic or a Johns Hopkins. Almost everything they do, we're doing here." says Mark Delworth MD, medical director of the Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery Program at Bethesda North. Learn more here
