Lakkaraj Rajasekhar, MD

Better known to his patients as “Dr. Raj”, Lakkaraj Rajasekhar, MD, is passionate about patient care. For the past three decades, he has put his patients’ needs first when treating them for a variety of cardiology issues. In private practice since 1982, Dr. Raj has found the secret to his success is spending time with his patients to listen and to understand their unique symptoms and needs.

Dr. Raj provides invasive and non-invasive cardiology treatment to adult patients suffering from a wide range of heart issues. For the convenience of his patients, he provides in-office procedures ranging from echocardiograms and electrocardiograms to stress tests and vascular studies. Additionally, Dr. Raj is the only TriHealth physician to offer Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) therapy. Intended for patients with persistent angina symptoms, this non-invasive, outpatient therapy helps stimulate circulation around narrowed or blocked arteries. For the last 25 years, Dr. Raj has served on the staff and worked closely with the physicians of Good Samaritan Hospital.
