At the Weight Management Center

TriHealth’s expertise in weight loss spans both surgical and non-surgical options, to provide the most personalized, appropriate care for each person. Our bariatric surgery program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons/American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Non-Surgical Weight Loss Options

Through healthy eating and lifestyle changes, our Weight Management Center’s non-surgical program addresses weight loss similar to a chronic condition – no different from diabetes or hypertension. Prevention and management become the focus.

TriHealth believes in working in partnership with primary care physicians to address weight loss issues with patients.

Professional Care

  Nina Gray MDNina Gray MD, TriHealth’s bariatrician specializing in non-surgical weight management care, brings a high level of enthusiasm and expertise to TriHealth’s Weight Management team. With a priority on physical and emotional wellness, she values the importance of personalized care for each patient. Backed by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses and dietitians, she customizes treatment plans to fit each individual’s needs. Dr. Gray reminds patients that this is a life change, not a diet, and is motivated by seeing small incremental changes in patients that will help achieve and maintain lifelong success.

Nutrition and Weight Management

Our dietitians at the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion keep our members and the community up to date on the latest health and wellness trends through screenings, classes, and seminars that promote healthier lifestyles through improved nutrition.

Programs include healthy cooking classes, Doc Talks, Exercise the Mind classes, Healthy Lifestyle and health screenings. Weight loss programs offered include BodyGem Metabolism testing, nutrition consults with our licensed registered dietitian, LifeSteps Weight Management, and our LifeSteps support group.

Weight Management Programs:

The TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion offers a variety of weight management options. Programs are open to members and nonmembers.

Both the LIFESTEPS® & the HealthOne weight loss program include a full complimentary membership to the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion (for non members) during the length of the program.

Lifesteps®Weight Loss - 12 week program

Take the FIRST STEP towards managing your weight – now and forever. We are pleased to offer LIFESTEPS®, a weight management program that incorporates nutrition education with physical activity and group support.

This comprehensive 12-week program provides ongoing guidance for healthy eating, increasing physical activity, and strategies for successful behavior change. An emphasis on personal choice, responsibility, and accountability sets this behavioral approach program apart from other weight management methods. This course will be taught by a LifeSteps-certified registered dietitian along with personal trainers & athletic trainers. Members $295, non-members $350, TriHealth team members $295.

HealthOne Weight Loss – 24 week program 

The HealthOne program provides a low-calorie diet for individuals with a BMI equal to or >27. The HealthOne plan combines food and meal replacements to provide more predictable weight loss. Taught by registered dietitians and athletic trainers to ensure participant safety. Small classes, group support, accountability, class with weekly weigh in, and an exercise component, all improve the participants success. A physical by your own physican and specific labwork is required to enroll in this program.   

Nutrition Services:

BodyGem Metabolism testing

Using the BodyGem Measurement device, our dietitian calculates your BMR/RMR  (which is the number of calories you burn at rest each day). You will breathe normally into a mouthpiece, while at rest, for five to 10 minutes. For best results, you are advised not to eat, exercise or smoke for about four hours before testing. You receive results immediately and may combine the assessment with a nutrition consultation. $75 for measurement only members and nonmembers/$104 for measurement and one-hour dietitian consultation members and nonmembers. Individual Nutrition Consults

Appointments available by appointment with one of our TriHealth Pavilion Registered Dietitians offer one-hour consultations for individualized help with your nutritional goals. By taking control of your food choices—without giving up all the foods you love—you can improve your weight, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and overall health.
