Psychiatry
TriHealth offers mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Our experts are located throughout Greater Cincinnati to provide ease of access no matter where you live. We also offer pastoral and grief support programs, employer-based counseling through Trihealth Corporate Health, and by recommendation from your regular physician.
Psychiatric Treatment
To provide effective treatment, our psychiatrists and psychologists study both the medical and mental background of the patient. Psychiatrists may prescribe:
- Medications
- Cognitive therapy
- Behavioral therapy
- Psychological counseling
TriHealth psychiatrists may also order laboratory and/or assessment testing, imaging, or other diagnostic procedures. They then analyze this information to provide assistance to the patient.
