Heads Count Concussion Program
Group Health and TriHealth Sports Medicine have teamed up to create Heads Count, the most comprehensive sports concussion program in the Cincinnati area. Their mission is to:
- Help prevent concussions through education
- Treat concussions with the best individualized care possible
A concussion is a brain injury that may occur when the head hits an object, or a moving object strikes the head.
We use an age-specific cognitive test which an athlete re-takes when a suspected concussion occurs.
Our physiatrists, athletic trainers and facilities are located throughout Greater Cincinnati.
