Arthroscopic Surgery

Arthroscopy is a surgical technique that uses a tiny fiber optic camera to peer into and perform surgery on joints such as the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and wrist. By using this minimally invasive technique, we are frequently able to return you to good health more quickly and with less pain. Because pain is reduced, these procedures can be performed as out-patient or day surgeries with no overnight stay needed.

Frequent procedures that are performed arthroscopically include repair or trimming of a torn knee cartilage, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, rotator cuff or labral repair, or hip joint surgery.

At TriHealth, we practice the latest and most advanced arthroscopic procedures and pride ourselves on our state of the art equipment and clinical experience in sports medicine and arthroscopy. Our physicians have advanced fellowship training in arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and wrist and treat patients ranging from weekend warriors to professional athletes.
