OB-Gyn Residency Program At Bethesda North Hospital
A leader in women's health
Bethesda demonstrates its excellence in women's health in many ways. Bethesda North Hospital will deliver more than 4,000 babies this year. The Bethesda Ob/Gyn Center provides a continuity of care clinic where women in the community can receive prenatal and gynecological care from residents under the supervision of attending staff. The Bethesda Center for Reproductive Health and Fertility has established itself in technological advances in infertility treatment. The environment at Bethesda is challenging, progressive and changing. Bethesda residents have matched in all Ob/Gyn subspecialities.
During their training, Bethesda residents have a variety of clinical experiences at different Bethesda locations. These locations include Bethesda Warren County, and the Bethesda Family Practice Center in addition to the Bethesda North Continuity of Care Clinic. The Warren County Clinic is an extension of the OB/GYN Center, located in a rural setting, where residents hold a prenatal clinic twice a week. The Bethesda Family Practice Center is a clinic in an office model setting that provides primary care for both private and public patients. This center is the primary clinical site for the Bethesda Family Practice Residency Program, and where our OB/GYN residents receive their Primary Care experience.
GSH provides additional exposure to high risk obstetrical patients and urogynecology.
