Medical Staff
The medical staff of the Good Samaritan Skin Cancer Center includes a dermatologist, facial and plastic reconstructive surgeons, general surgeons, pathologists, a surgical oncologist, and medical oncologists, a of whom are experienced and board certified in their respective fields. Our physicians are experienced in skin cancer care and reconstructive surgery, and are dedicated to integrating and coordinating patient care for the benefit and convenience of the patient.

Your treatment for skin cancer may involve a number of medial professionals. Some of the those professionals include:
Oncologist
Oncology is the branch of medicine that studies tumors (cancer) and seeks to understand their development, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. A medical professional who practices oncology is an oncologist.
The oncologist often coordinates the multidisciplinary care of cancer patients, which may involve physiotherapy, counseling, clinical genetics, to name but a few. On the other hand, the oncologist often works with pathologists on the exact biological nature of the tumor that is being treated.
Surgical oncologist
Surgical oncology is the branch of surgery which focuses on the surgical management cancer.
Dermatologists
Dermatologists, or skin care doctors, have expertise in the care of normal skin as well as in the prevention and treatment of a wide variety of skin conditions, including skin cancers.
Pathologist
Pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease through examination of organs, tissues, bodily fluids and whole bodies.
