Accessing the Skin Cancer Center
There are two ways to access the Good Samaritan Skin Cancer Center:
Physician referral
Let’s say you find a suspicious looking spot on your skin. You’re not sure what it is so you ask your primary care physician (PCP) to look at it. Your PCP wants to have the spot seen quickly by a dermatologist. Your PCP can contact us and we will call you to set up an appointment.
Self-referral
You also have the option of calling the Skin Cancer Center yourself to schedule an appointment. We’ll ask you a series of questions to determine if you need to be seen quickly through the Skin Cancer Center.
Either way, follow-up care (if needed) can be easily and quickly coordinated. All your care, from diagnosis to treatment to follow-up care, is handled by a coordinator, dedicated to helping you through the entire process.
