Nurse Midwife Care

More specifically, women choose TriHealth Nurse Midwives care because we provide safe, satisfying care. All are certified nurse midwives (CNMs) licensed as independent practitioners with the Ohio Nursing Board to provide direct care. They are master's degree prepared registered nurses who are certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and follow standards of care set forth by the ACNM and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).

- Women seen by TriHealth Nurse Midwives give birth at Good Samaritan Hospital, which is regionally recognized for its comprehensive care, including high-risk pregnancies and births; features a world-ranked Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; and offers an experienced maternity department with more than 7,000 births per year.
- If advanced care is required, we can immediately refer you to a maternal-fetal high-risk specialist through our collaboration with Tri-State Maternal-Fetal Medicine Associates or to a gynecology specialist at Good Samaritan Hospital.
