TriHealth’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer+ (LGBTQ+) Employee Resource Group fosters an inclusive workplace culture that supports the LGBTQ+ team members and community.
TriHealth earned top marks from HEI for its commitment to equitable, inclusive care for LGBTQ+ patients and their families, who can face significant challenges in securing adequate health care.
Continual Growth on LGBTQ+ Patient Services
PRISM will focus on strengthening TriHealth’s best practices for LGBTQ+ patients, team members, and their families. PRISM will drive and promote visibility among team members with leadership about the current workplace and social issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community. PRISM has a strategic plan that focuses on three core objectives, which include Education and Awareness, Talent Management, and Community Engagement.
Through networking, educational events, outreach and more, PRISM strives to create a safe place for LGBTQ+ team members while maintaining diversity in thoughts and ideas across the system.
Presence in the Community
TriHealth is active in the local LGTBQ+ community. Supporting local events/functions that includes:
- Cincinnati PRIDE: TriHealth serves as the only faith-based healthcare organization to provide healthcare services at the event.
- Carocle Inc.-volunteered for their annual Christmas drive along with education and awareness.
- HRC Gala Bronze Sponsor
- Lighthouse Youth Services supporting our area youth in the community.
