At TriHealth, our Job Shadow Program allows high school students (age 14 and older) who are deciding on a career path, to observe a professional doing everyday activities. We also serve students who need to meet requirements to enter an academic program of study. These experiences are typically one day for 4-8 hours. In some select cases, multi-day shadows may be approved.
Your first step to setup a job shadow is to obtain a commitment from a TriHealth team member who will host your experience and to obtain approval from the department/unit manager. Volunteer Services does not arrange the job shadow experience. Click Here to download the Pre-Authorization Form. Please note that page 2 gives an overview of job shadow requirements including: completion of an application, risk and release form, immunization records and online education.
