At TriHealth, our Job Shadow Program allows students who are deciding on a career path, to observe a professional doing everyday activities. We serve both high school students (age 14 and older) and college students who need to meet requirements to enter an academic program of study. These experiences are typically one day for 4-8 hours. In some select cases, multi-day shadows may be approved.
Your first step to setup a job shadow is to obtain a commitment from a TriHealth team member who will host your experience and to obtain approval from the department/unit manager. Volunteer Services does not arrange the job shadow experience. Click Here to download the Pre-Authorization Form. Please note that page 2 gives an overview of job shadow requirements including: completion of an application, risk and release form, immunization records and online education.
