On the Day of Your Vaccine

On the Day of Your Vaccine:

  • Only one caregiver may escort you to the clinic if necessary; no children will be allowed.
  • Minors age 16 and 17 who are receiving the vaccines must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Mask: TriHealth requires all patients and visitors to wear a mask within our facilities
  • Arrival: If you arrive early to your appointment, please wait in your car until 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that physical distance can be maintained in our clinics.
  • Insurance Card: There is no out-of-pocket cost for receiving the vaccine. However, you will be asked for your insurance information.
  • Driver's License: Your drivers’ license or a form of identification will be required to receive the vaccine.
  • If you receive a COVID-19 vaccine that requires two doses, your second dose will be scheduled during your vaccine appointment. You must be available 28 days after your first dose, depending on the vaccine type.
  • Observation time is necessary. You will be required to stay on-site for at least 15 minutes following your vaccination to ensure there are no adverse reactions. Most reported side effects are mild. Health professionals will be on site to help with any concerns.

TriHealth is proud to be your partner in care and we look forward to helping the Greater Cincinnati community move through this pandemic and to safeguard the health and well-being of our patients and team members.

We are physicians, hospitals and communities working together to help you live better.
