Health Talk Live: Artificial Intelligence in the Diagnosis of Breast Cancer

TriHealth radiologists are using artificial intelligence (AI), in conjunction with 3D mammography, to diagnose otherwise hidden concerns, allowing for more accuracy in the early diagnosis of breast cancer. This segment of TriHealth’s Health Talk Live with Local 12’s Liz Bonis features Anthony Antonoplos MD, a diagnostic radiologist who shares information about the technology and its benefits. He is joined by Kristen, a patient at TriHealth’s Mary Jo Cropper Family Center for Breast Care, who talks about her experience with the technology in the diagnosis of a mass that turned out to be benign, and Andy Swallow, president and CEO of the Bethesda Foundation, which provided funding for the technology and continues to support TriHealth’s programs for breast health and breast cancer awareness.
