Find out Dr. Lewis’ No. 1 Tip for Heart Disease
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of American women. Each year, one in three women dies of heart disease and stroke. With the right lifestyle changes, however, 80 percent of these deaths are preventable.
But, heart disease in women may have an atypical presentation, so do this first: “Seek attention immediately for any symptoms that seem to be out of the ordinary,” Stephen Lewis MD, of the TriHealth Heart Institute, explains. “Go to your doctor and sort out the issue.”
