Many fitness experts, including Jeff at the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion agree that squats can be one of the single most important exercises you can do. Your legs give you mobility, power and balance But did you know that as your largest muscle group, they are calorie-burning factories when you put them to work? Strengthening your legs is one of the best ways to burn fat and the squat is one of the most basic and effective ways to do so.

It’s important to use proper technique to get the most out of your workout and avoid injury, however, so watch as Jeff demonstrates proper form and variations of this important exercise.
