TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented Trauma Surgeon for a full-time position at our awarded Bethesda North Hospital—boasting the only American College of Surgeons verified Level III Trauma Center in Hamilton County. You will join a progressive trauma surgical team managing a large diverse population of severely injured patients by providing safe, reliable acute care surgery, trauma surgery and critical care.

Our trauma program is comprised of more than 10 surgeons ensuring swift, excellent care in collaboration with our specialty trained Trauma Nurses, ED Physicians, Trauma Surgeons, Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons and other medical and surgical specialists.

The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a fast-paced, busy, high volume and high producing group. For consideration you will:

· Be board certified with current unrestricted license

· Have completed an accredited general surgery residency program along with appropriate fellowship training in trauma with critical care fellowship training strongly preferred

· Be a demonstrated, effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to all audiences—patients, peer physicians, staff, leadership

· Be willing to be part of a committed, team approach as it relates to the care and well-being of our patients

· Take an active interest and be willing to participate in medical education and research
