The Good Samaritans’ 36th Annual Gala: Roaring Into the Twenties!
On February 8, 2020, more than 610 flappers and fellas flocked to the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati for The Good Samaritans’ 36th Annual Gala, Roaring Into the Twenties! The event raised more than $566,000 to support the TriHealth Neuroscience Institute at Good Samaritan Hospital, along with annual support of the Good Samaritan Free Health Center and Medical Education Research Fund.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, and dancing the night away to local celebrity DJ JonJon from Q102. They also had fun with a champagne ring toss, moonshine tasting, magicians, a sketch artist, palm readers, and more!
About the Beneficiary
Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States suffers a stroke. To increase survival rates and quality of life, every moment counts. The faster a stroke is detected, diagnosed, and treated, the higher the chances are that a person will not only survive, but survive with less permanent disability.
Because of the Gala’s success, the Neuroscience Institute will be able to purchase artificial intelligence software that will help clinicians detect, diagnose, and treat strokes faster than ever before. This will create not only to more stroke survivors, but survivors with better mobility and quality of life.
In addition, proceeds will help provide care to uninsured individuals in our community at the Good Samaritan Free Health Center and continue Good Samaritan’s rich tradition of Graduate Medical Education.
