McCullough-Hyde Hospital/TriHealth located in Oxford OH is recruiting for a Full-Time Clinical Dietitian
Principle accountabilities include planning, directly participating in and documenting all aspects of the nutritional care of patients in assigned area. Performs nutritional assessment and documents nutrition diagnosis based on guidelines outlined by the nutrition care process. Discusses the nutrition diagnosis and provides counseling that outlines nutrition goals with patient, families and team members when possible. Collaborates with internal and external resources to implement care plan. Monitors and evaluates, the effectiveness of the patients nutrition care and revises plan as needed. Relates basic principles of nutrition to staff, healthcare team members and community. Reviews current research to enhance professional practice. Serves on at least one hospital committee and provides feedback positively impacting decisions that affect the department, hospital and community. Demonstrates awareness of professional time management and uses time efficiently and productively. Is open to change and has the ability to alter ones task with minimal loss of efficacy.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics CDR Registration/ Ohio Licensure
Experience: At least one (1) year in a related field and preferred experience with eating disorder patient population. General clinical knowledge of adult learning principles.
Schedule: Full-Time 40hrs per week Day Shift position
