This wonderfully relaxing massage session is designed to improve circulation and promote healing as it instantly eliminates stress.

Deep Tissue Sports Therapy Massage

La Stone Hot and Cool Therapeutic Massage

(80 minutes) Volcanic stones are placed on pressure points on either side of your spine, along your torso on the chakra energy centers and in between your toes. Your therapist uses a warm, aromatic massage oil and therapeutic hot and cool stones for a deeply relaxing massage. $100

Mother-to-be Massage

Prenatal massage techniques can reduce the stress of the birthing process. Check with your doctor during the first trimester. This service is offered at the Spa and for inpatients of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan hospitals.

Myofascia Release Massage

(60 minutes, 90 minutes) Focusing on the fascia, the outer tissue of the muscle, this massage employs the “Rolfing” technique to help eliminate pain, assist in rapid recovery of injury, promote muscle growth and strengthen postural alignment. Relaxes and loosens muscles, relieves tension, increases flexibility and range of motion immediately, with long-lasting results.

Craniosacral Therapy

 Head Massage

(60 minutes, 90 minutes) Using gentle touch, the therapist releases restrictions in the protective membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord. This therapy improves nervous system functioning, boosts the immune system and helps alleviate pain and dysfunction.

Cancer Massage

Oncology massage is an approach to massage therapy based in both compassion and specialized massage treatments to help people manage their experience with cancer. Review of the scientific literature indicates oncology massage helps improve quality of life. Benefits include improved relaxation, sleep, and immune function as well as relieving anxiety, pain, fatigue and nausea. Oncology massage therapists are trained to meet people where they are in their experience with cancer and apply a highly individualized massage treatment to comfort, nurture and support them in their process.  Seated Massage

(10 to 15 minutes per person) Experience a 10- or 15-minute (fully clothed) seated massage at the Spa. On-location seated massage also is available for a lunch break, office party or staff meeting. $1/minute

“Sole”ful Foot Massage

(30 minutes) Designed to soothe tired and aching feet, this treatment begins with a hot towel wrap, followed by a tension-relieving foot massage and concludes with an invigorating foot mask. Rejuvenated feet are just a few steps away. $42

Reflexology

(60 minutes) Our reflexologists apply pressure to the reflex points of the feet and hands that correspond to the body's organ systems. The therapy helps release blocked energy so it can flow freely and promote healing. $65
