1. Where are TriHealth Priority Care centers located?

2. What hours are TriHealth Priority Care centers open?

TriHealth Priority Care centers are open 7 days a week:

  • Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We are also open for limited hours on holidays. TriHealth Priority Care centers are only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

3. Do I need to make an appointment to visit a TriHealth Priority Care center?

No appointment is necessary; walk-ins are always welcome at TriHealth Priority Care centers.

4. What are the qualifications of staff at TriHealth Priority Care centers?

All TriHealth Priority Care physicians are board certified, which means each physician has completed a medical residency program and passed a test demonstrating exceptional expertise in a particular specialty of medical practice (for example, family medicine). Note: Doctors at some urgent care centers may not be board certified.

5. What conditions do TriHealth Priority Care centers treat?

We care for needs such as:

  • Wound care/stitches
  • On-site X-rays
  • Broken bones/fracture evaluation
  • Splinting of injuries
  • Minor burn care
  • Minor sports-related and work-related injuries
  • Cough, cold, asthma, flu
  • Infections such as strep, urinary, skin, respiratory/lung
  • Lab testing for these conditions on site

6. Are there any conditions that TriHealth Priority Care centers cannot treat?

For serious health conditions—such as chest pain, severe abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and uncontrolled bleeding—you should visit the nearest emergency room or call 911.

7. Do TriHealth Priority Care centers see children?

TriHealth Priority Care centers care for children ages 2 months and older.

8. Can I get vaccines at TriHealth Priority Care centers?

TriHealth Priority Care centers offer the following vaccines:

  • Diphtheria
  • Flu
  • Pertussis
  • Tetanus
  • Tuberculosis (TB)

9. Do I have to be a TriHealth patient to go to a TriHealth Priority Care center?

TriHealth Priority Care centers are open for everyone and can care for you whether you have a TriHealth physician, non-TriHealth physician, or no physician at all.

10. Can I go to a TriHealth Priority Care center if I get injured on the job?

If you are injured on the job and have worker’s compensation, please visit one of TriHealth’s seven occupational medicine centers. Click here for a list of locations. If the occupational medicine centers are closed, TriHealth Priority Care can open a new worker’s compensation case, provide medical treatment, and refer you to a TriHealth occupational medicine center for follow-up care.

11. What do I need to bring with me when I visit a TriHealth Priority Care center?

When you visit a TriHealth Priority Care center, please bring:

  • A form of photo identification (for example, a driver’s license)
  • Your insurance card
  • A form of payment – We offer convenient payment options, including cash, check, and credit card.

12. Will insurance cover my visit?

TriHealth Priority Care accepts most major insurance plans. To find out if your insurance plan is accepted, please call member services listed on the back of your insurance card. 

13. How much will my visit cost me out of pocket?

For most insurance plans, the TriHealth Priority Care co-pay is similar to that of a physician office.

If you do not have insurance, your out-of-pocket costs will depend on the services you need. We require a $75 deposit on the date of service, and the remaining balance will be billed to you with a 25% discount.

14. Are TriHealth Priority Care centers more affordable than a hospital emergency room?

TriHealth Priority Care is a reliable, cost-effective alternative to visiting the emergency room (ER) for non-emergency conditions and often costs significantly less than the ER. For most insurance plans, the TriHealth Priority Care co-pay is similar to that of a physician office.

15. How long will I have to wait to see a provider?

Since no appointments are necessary, your wait time will depend on the number of patients at TriHealth Priority Care at the same time. We offer prompt care and are consistently ranked high in patient satisfaction. You can always check the current wait time at all of our locations by going to

16. What if I need a lab test or an X-ray?

TriHealth Priority Care has limited lab and X-ray services onsite that can be utilized for the condition for which you are being seen.

17. What if I need to see a specialist?

TriHealth Priority Care physicians can refer you to a specialist, if needed.

18. What if I need follow-up care after my visit to TriHealth Priority Care?

TriHealth Priority Care physicians will refer you to your primary care physician for follow-up care. If you do not have a primary care physician, we can help you find a physician that meets your needs.

19. Will my primary care physician be aware that I visited a TriHealth Priority Care center?

Yes, TriHealth Priority Care staff will notify your primary care physician of your visit and make information about your care available so that he/she can coordinate appropriate follow-up care.

20. What should I expect when visiting a TriHealth Priority Care center?

  • When you enter a TriHealth Priority Care center, you will be greeted by a front office specialist and asked to sign in.
  • Next, you will complete the short registration process, including providing your insurance information and co-pay.
  • Once registration is complete, a medical assistant (MA) will escort you to an exam room to check your blood pressure and take other readings, then review your medical history.
  • Next, a board-certified physician or nurse practitioner will evaluate your condition and order X-rays or labs as needed.
  • After your evaluation and tests are complete, you will be prescribed medications (if indicated), given follow-up instructions, and offered an access code to your MyChart online patient portal.
