Hand surgery deals with problems of the hand, wrist and forearm. Some of the conditions that can be treated by hand surgery are carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist pain and injuries to the hand and wrist.
We offer treatment for all disorders of the hand and upper extremity. Depending on the problem, treatment varies. Non-surgical approaches, which are the solutions for the majority of our patients, include:
- Casts or splints
- Cortisone injections
- Medication with analgesics and/or antibiotics
For more severe situations, surgery may be required. We perform:
- Full surgical procedures
- Arthroscopy and microvascular surgery
When appropriate, we prescribe hand therapy and recommend certified leading hand therapists to work with you.
