Our network of sports medicine physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and certified athletic trainers provides comprehensive care for competitive athletes, weekend warriors, and everyone in between. Our team loves the game as much as the athletes we treat, and when injuries occur our goal is to safely return you to competition as quickly and pain-free as possible.

TriHealth Sports Medicine does not have a walk-in facility. If you or a loved one is in need of medical help for a sports-related injury, visit our sports injury clinics at Kenwood or Rookwood, or a nearby TriHealth Priority Care location.

Our staff includes full-time, certified athletic trainers and several other specially trained medical professionals. We provide services in an outreach capacity, by staffing events and assigning trainers to work with partners.

Program Manager

BSEd from Ohio University; Worked in professional baseball for the San Francisco Giants from 1983-1992 and for the Cincinnati Reds as their Head Athletic Trainer from 1993-2002. He is responsible for the management, development, and marketing of the sports medicine program. This includes coordination and oversight of athletic training services to a wide variety of partner schools, organizations, recreational athletes and entities, and special sporting events in Greater Cincinnati. Additional responsibilities include establishing and ensuring high standard of care and positive outcomes to the community being served; Member of NATA, PBATS, OATA, and GCATA; Past President of GCATA.

Breanna CugliariBreanna Cugliari, MS., AT, ATC / Xavier University 

Bre was previously the Associate Head Athletic Trainer at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. (July 2016-June 2017). Prior to Rhodes College, she worked as an athletic trainer and instructor at Mount St. Joseph University from 2013-16. She also served as a graduate assistant at Ohio University from 2011-13 where she worked as the head athletic trainer at Wahama HS in Mason, W. Va. Bre earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Toledo in 2011 and a master’s degree in athletic training from Ohio University in 2013.

Has worked previously as a clinical Athletic Trainer, as an Athletic Trainer & instructor at Mount St. Joseph University from 2014-16. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in athletic training from Ball State University and earned his Masters of Science degree in applied exercise science from Oklahoma State University in 2014.
