Jim Collins

Jim Collins, MD

Dr. Jim Collins, Gerontologist, has spent his entire adult life as an advocate for quality of care and quality of life in senior care communities around the country. He presents at conferences, seminars and care facilities on a regular basis. Dr. Collins also trains in senior care facilities including skilled nursing centers, assisted living communities, home health companies, and hospice companies.

He owns and operates Collins Learning, which provides online compliance training and continuing education to health care professionals around the country. His latest acquisition is a hospice company based in Ohio. Dr. Collins also enjoys writing for professional health care journals and magazines, and has published the first book on person-centered care in the United States - The Person-Centered Way: Revolutionizing Quality of Life in Long Term Care.
