Two TriHealth hospital departments were recently recognized with Excellence through Insight awards from HealthStream. Bethesda Butler Hospital's Emergency Department was recognized in the Small Hospital Category, while Good Samaritan Hospital's Rehabilitation Department was honored for their work in the Overall Patient Experience in their Inpatient- Rehabilitation Unit.

"Over the years, our staff has made great efforts to provide the highest quality of care for our rehab patients," said Bob Pritts, Administrator of Musculoskeletal & Rehabilitation Services for TriHealth. "It is a great honor for our team members to be recognized by the responses of our patients and families that allowed us to receive this award. It is the perceptions of these families that bring the greatest satisfaction to all the Rehab staff who are a part of their recovery."

The departments recognized by HealthStream at Bethesda Butler and Good Samaritan Hospitals were awarded the honor for their commitment to excellence in patient care. To qualify for an award, a hospital must have been a patient satisfaction-tracking client of HealthStream in 2013, scored in the 75th percentile or higher, and surveyed a minimum of 100 patients. Both departments were chosen for receiving the highest ratings in patient experience from among HealthStream's clients, as well as for exceeding industry standards.

HealthStream CEO Robert A Frist, Jr. said, "We applaud TriHealth's high-level commitment to excellence at both Good Samaritan's Rehabilitation Department and Bethesda Butler's Emergency Department, and are pleased to recognize their achievement through our presentation of an Excellence through Insight Award."

"We are honored by the recognition that has been earned by all of our healthcare professionals who work alongside the ED staff to ensure patients receive great care here at Bethesda Butler Hospital," said Chuck Brown, Site Administrator, Bethesda Butler Hospital. For more information:
