Stop the Bleed Campaign

Trauma services has taken a leadership position in providing Stop the Bleed training for our communities. The purpose of the Stop the Bleed campaign is to make our nation more resilient by better preparing the public to save lives if people nearby are severely bleeding. Stop the Bleed training originated from the Hartford Consensus after the Sandy Hook School shooting and the Boston Marathon Bombing. The training focuses on immediate life-saving bleeding control using simple methods that are easily trained. Trauma services is happy to arrange this training for any group free of charge.
