TriHealth Named Healthy Worksite Platinum Award Winner

The Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO) has recognized TriHealth as a Healthy Worksite Platinum Award Winner. The Healthy Worksite Award honors Ohio employers who demonstrate a commitment to employee wellness through comprehensive worksite health promotion and wellness programs. Applicants are scored on the extent their wellness programs facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity and ensure a healthy work environment.

This marks the first year for which the HBCO awarded the Platinum designation, a new level of achievement recognizing employers who consistently received the previous maximum honor of Gold. The Platinum level of achievement is designed to encourage continued growth in high performing employers’ efforts to improve employee well-being.

“As leaders in population health, TriHealth truly models what we believe,” shares Terri Hanlon-Bremer, TriHealth’s Vice President of Employer Solutions. “Our expansion of programs supports a greater focus on movement, stress management, nutrition and sleep - all of which lead to sustainable behavioral changes that bolster our team members’ ability to thrive personally and professionally.”

TriHealth’s commitment to this promise is engrained in who we are as a health system.”

TriHealth also extends congratulations to several area employers honored by the HBCO with whom they collaborate on employee wellness services, including the City of Cincinnati, Formica Corporation, Rhinestahl Corporation, and Xavier University.

The HBCO will recognize TriHealth and other award recipients for their healthy worksite practices as part of the Health Action Council’s 2021 Virtual Conference Series & Expo on Feb. 4, 2021.
