TriHealth’s award-winning ‘Cancer Wellness Program’ is now expanding to the Cincinnati Sports Club. This program which has been held for the past 12 years at the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion.
Exercise is a great way to increase energy levels, strength and cardiovascular endurance and is important to overall good health. Evidence has shown that becoming a regular exerciser can reduce the risk of recurrence with some types of cancer. This supervised program is designed to help lead those who are currently undergoing cancer treatment or who have finished treatment within the past year to good health through regular exercise.
The exercise sessions are a combination of cardio, strength and flexibility exercises. There is no cost to the participant as the program is sponsored by generous contributions to the Cancer Wellness fund from TriHealth’s Bethesda Foundation and Good Samaritan Foundation.
Physician clearance is required to participate in this program. Classes take place at the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion located at 6200 Pfeiffer Road at I71 in the Montgomery/Blue Ash area and at the Cincinnati Sports Club located at 3950 Red Bank Road.
