Tosha Hill, LSW and Priscilla Conley, RN BSN MSN, social workers at TriHealth, were presented the first annual Rose Award from First Step Home on behalf of the Helping Opiate-addicted Pregnant Women Evolve (HOPE) program. They were recognized for their work providing social work support, referrals to community support services, and nutritional and financial counseling to addicted expectant women.
Opiate-addicted women often avoid care during pregnancy, leading to problems for them and their baby. The HOPE program, based out of TriHealth's Good Samaritan Hospital and the Faculty Medical Center, manages the cases of an average 100 women annually, providing social work support, referrals to community support services, financial counseling and nutritional counseling. The staff also provide ongoing support for all of a mother's needs throughout her pregnancy with the goal of better birth outcomes and reducing preterm labor.

The program begin in 2007 and provides all the resources of the TriHealth system with nurse case managers, physicians, nurse midwives, social workers, dietitians and financial counselors all collaborating for the benefit of the patient and the baby. With the support of Seton Center and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), mothers and babies receive the best possible care in the region.
