TriHealth announced the appointment of Ohio native, Rob Whitehouse, as Vice President of Marketing Communications for the health system.
Whitehouse is a seasoned executive with a strong mix of senior marketing and communications leadership experiences both within and outside of the healthcare industry. For the past two years, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations for Summa Health in Akron, Ohio where he led a cross-functional team supporting Regional Marketing, Brand/Digital Marketing, Communications, Community Relations and Community Benefit. Among his key accomplishments during his tenure was the launch of a new brand for the health system in 2016. Prior to his role at Summa, Rob held various communications and marketing roles at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Akron, University Hospitals Health System, Inc. in Cleveland, and Dix & Eaton Inc. in Cleveland, a national integrated communications consultancy firm.
Whitehouse will join TriHealth in early August, reporting to Mark C. Clement, TriHealth President & CEO. He will oversee TriHealth’s multi-disciplinary communications team and functions, including Marketing & Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Internal Communications. In his role, he will be instrumental in developing and leading TriHealth’s integrated communication strategies and initiatives in support of the system’s transformational work to become the community’s full continuum healthcare provider of choice for every stage of life and every state of health.
