TriHealth Names Kevin Joseph, MD Chief Medical Officer

TriHealth announced Kevin Joseph, MD has been named Chief Medical Officer for the health system. Dr. Joseph replaces Dr. Bob Collins, who recently announced his retirement after nearly 35 years of extraordinary service to our patients, our health system and the community.

Dr. Joseph joined TriHealth in January 2017 as the System Chief Quality Officer. In this role, Dr. Joseph held system-wide responsibility for management, coordination and integration of all quality, clinical performance improvement and patient safety functions across the full continuum of acute, ambulatory and post-acute services. He will maintain these responsibilities in addition to his new role as Chief Medical Officer.

An emergency medicine physician, Dr. Joseph joined TriHealth from UC Health where he served as the Senior Vice President of Inpatient Services. Prior to that role, Dr. Joseph was President and CEO of UC Health’s West Chester Hospital, as well as Medical Director of the hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Joseph received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins, completed medical school at Vanderbilt and served his residency in Emergency Medicine at UC Health.
