Growing up, Dr. Abigail Stein always felt that a career in medicine would be the perfect fit because of her love of science and working with people. In medical school,she quickly learned that working with children and their families brought her the most joy. Following residency, she was elected to be a chief resident at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, spending the year teaching future pediatricians and caring for children admitted to the hospital. Providing the highest level of evidenced-based care to all children is important to her.
Dr. Stein sees children from newborn through college age for acute illnesses, well-child visits and preventive care. She especially enjoys caring for children with complex medical needs, teen health and contraception counseling, chronic respiratory diseases, and depression and anxiety. She loves working with families and creates a warm and inviting, family-centered environment. She wants patients and parents to feel supported and comfortable talking to her about any concern. Dr. Stein encourages parents to do what works for them and their family while keeping their child safe and healthy.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Dr. Stein enjoys running, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
