A desire to take care of people and make a difference in their lives led Dr. Anna Stecher to pursue medicine as a career. She values being with people during major life events and helping them through both joyous and difficult times. She also likes the combination of office and surgical care in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Stecher sees adolescents and adults for all obstetric and gynecologic concerns, including contraceptive counseling, pre- and post-natal care and minimally invasive procedures. She believes in providing her patients with information about their bodies, the treatment options available and her recommendations so they can decide the course to pursue. She also likes to look at natural options, based on the patient’s desires. Dr. Stecher encourages everyone to not ignore symptoms and to be more proactive in their health care.
A Cincinnati native, Dr. Stecher was born at Good Samaritan Hospital, had her children there and now delivers babies there as well. She and her husband are dedicated supporters of Lifewater International, a charity dedicated to providing safe water sources in underdeveloped nations. She enjoys the theatre, painting landscapes and time with her growing family.
