Chengyuan (Alex) Feng, MD, PhD, graduated from Xiangya School of Medicine Central South University in China and completed a neurology residency training at Loma Linda University in California. During the residency training, he served as an Academic Chief Resident, won an Excellence in Education Award from Loma Linda University and a Resident Scholarship from American Academy of Neurology. He further pursued a neurocritical care fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland.

He is a board-certified neurologist, a registered physician in neurovascular interpretation, and an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Ohio University. Additionally, he holds a PhD degree in neuroscience and has undergone postdoctoral training at the University of Nevada, Reno. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Feng enjoys hiking, boxing, and spending time with family.
