Always interested in math and science, Chris Lamm, AGANCP, found his interests leaning toward medicine after taking sports medicine and anatomy classes in high school. On the advice of friends, he attended the accelerated nurse program at the University of Cincinnati and became a registered nurse before pursuing certification as a nurse practitioner. He has found that caring for people is the perfect combination of two things he loves: medicine and talking with people. After six years in emergency medicine, Chris chose to work in oncology after experiencing his father’s fight with lymphoma.
As a certified nurse practitioner, Chris works with patients and their families during the diagnosis and treatment process for cancer. He creates a friendly environment where patients can ask questions and share concerns, recognizing that the smallest detail can impact effective care. He encourages everyone to seek medical care early, when preventive measures might curtail a long illness.
Chris grew up in Mason and is married. He supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He enjoys all sports and is happy to get outside for nature-focused activities, like hiking and travel.
