About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Neurology

Five years of volunteering as a counselor at a summer
camp for kids with muscular dystrophy led Dr. Eric
Libell to pursue medicine as a career and neurology
as a specialty. While in residency, he also developed a
strong interest in migraines and headaches. He values
neurology as a rapidly evolving specialty, where new
medications and technological advances can transform
people’s lives.
Dr. Libell sees patients for the diagnosis and treatment
of diseases and conditions of the brain, spinal cord and
nerves. As a migraine sufferer, he is uniquely positioned
to focus on the treatment of migraines and headaches,
through medications, lifestyle changes and Botox®
injections. Dr. Libell sets a casual environment where
patients can feel free to share their stories. He believes
in lending reassurance and a listening ear. Dr. Libell
encourages everyone to get a good night’s rest for good
brain health and to use a CPAP (continuous positive
airway pressure) machine as prescribed for sleep.

A native of Morgantown, WV, Dr. Libell is an unabashed
Steeler fan, although he roots for the Reds. He enjoys
working out, cooking and playing video games with
friends.
