About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Gastroenterology

Dr. Freeha Khan chose to specialize in gastroenterology because it is the perfect blend of clinical and procedural medicine. She finds it rewarding when a patient who had experienced debilitating symptoms can now enjoy life after seeing her for treatment.

As a board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Khan’s clinical interests include all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology, including acid reflux, colon cancer screening, small bowel diseases and liver disease. She completed fellowships in both gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease research, inspiring a particular interest in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. She has published numerous studies and has presented her research findings at national conferences. She is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Khan creates a comfortable environment where patients can easily share their concerns. She strives to answer all questions and encourages patients to bring up any needs they might have.
