Dr. Hajra Cheema is dedicated to fostering long-term and trusting relationships with her patients. Always fascinated by science and interested in helping others, she values the daily diversity in the conditions and the people she sees. She also appreciates the impact primary care providers have on community health, often being the first contact with healthcare. She is committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care while customizing treatment plans to individual needs.

As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Cheema sees adults for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and obesity. She also focuses on preventive medicine and health education. She believes in active listening, assuring that her patients feel heard and an open line of communication is maintained. Dr. Cheema encourages everyone to practice a physical activity that they enjoy, emphasizing the physical and mental benefitsof regular exercise.

Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Cheema and her husband have one daughter. She strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle, incorporating outdoor activities like sports and travel. She also loves spending time with her family.

    She was very thorough in making sure that all of my information was up to date. She also seems to be very proactive in making sure that I'm not showing any signs of the hereditary diseases that run in my family. The questions were all relevant and she seemed to actually value my voice in the matter.

    My doctor was very helpful put me on a 1500 calorie diet to help with my weight and schedule test to see if anything was going on with my heart
