About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • General Surgery

Dr. Kevin Schrand appreciates the trust he’s given by his patients in some of the most difficult moments of their life, and this is an honor that he cherishes most about his profession. He has had a long-time interest in helping others, drawing him to the medical field where he found surgery to best fit his personality. His goal is to identify a problem, and then to work with his patients and their family to produce a solution.

Dr. Schrand served four years as a surgeon with the United States Air Force. He trained other physicians and served with the Critical Care Air Transport Team. His deployments gave him the opportunity to work with, support, and learn from the men and women serving our country overseas.

Serving as both a trauma surgeon and acute care surgeon, Dr. Schrand sees patients with emergency surgical needs. He also performs minimally invasive, both laparoscopic and robotic, procedures in the elective setting. With an easy-going manner, he enjoys the process of getting to know his patients and hopes to help in any way that he can. He encourages everyone to stay physically active to help both with mind and body health, and he has adopted the outlook of continuing to move forward in life despite its many difficulties, and to make the most of every moment that we may have.

Married with three children, Dr. Schrand is a native of Cincinnati and grew up in the West Chester area. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and watching his children learn and grow in the community.
