Lonna Larger, CNP, PMHNP-BC, believes that everyone, regardless of where they are on their journey, deserves to live their best life. Since childhood, she’s been interested in how the brain works, due in part to having a family member with schizophrenia. She loves listening and learning about people.
As a certified mental health nurse practitioner, Lonna sees adults referred by their primary care physicians for the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety and attention deficit disorders. She is particularly interested in post-traumatic disorders and cognitive behavior therapy. Lonna provides a safe, calming and nonjudgmental environment, where patients can feel free to discuss their concerns. She takes a trauma-informed approach, recognizing the widespread impact that trauma can have. Lonna encourages everyone to take time for self-care in whatever form works best for each individual.
Originally from Springboro, Lonna is married and has three pets: a pug, a Shepadoodle and a cat. She enjoys yoga and travel, especially anywhere with water.
