About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Gastroenterology

Dr. Mark Manegold feels as though he has come full circle, having worked in the mailroom at Good Samaritan Hospital during college. It was there that residents encouraged him to pursue pre-med college coursework. He then served his residency at Good Samaritan, where he was inspired by Dr. Thomas Saladin to specialize in gastroenterology.

With more than 34 years of experience, Dr. Manegold sees adult patients for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. He has done extensive work with esophageal disorders and swallowing problems. He listens carefully to his patients and creates a confidential and protected environment where they can share their concerns. He encourages everyone to be proactive with respect to their GI health, especially scheduling routine screening colonoscopies.

A native of the west side, Dr. Manegold has been married to his wife, Sue, for more than 39 years. They love to travel and have especially enjoyed Hawaii, Italy and Germany. He is also an avid fisherman.
