Dr. Matthew Wolfgang learned early about the rewards gained as a doctor. His parents were both in medicine and he had several mentors who were physicians. From them, he experienced the joy of taking care of children. He truly values the chance to see kids grow and to help them develop to their potential.
Dr. Wolfgang sees children from newborns through college years for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. With several years of experience as an emergency doctor, he also provides stitches and wound care for minor cuts and injuries. He believes in meeting kids on their level, creating a relaxing and engaging office environment. He promotes a family-centered decision process, talking out options and approaches, to provide the best care for every child. He encourages everyone to cultivate an active and healthy lifestyle that can be continued throughout life.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Wolfgang moved to the Cincinnati area for training and chose to stay. He and his wife are raising five children – including a set of twins – on their hobby farm in Clermont County, where he enjoys working with the animals and fruit trees. He also enjoys reading and board games.
