Originally a personal trainer, Dr. Matthew Harden found he wanted to help a wider range of people live their healthiest lives. He saw medicine as the perfect way to help people to combine his love of science with his desire to help people. He loves building relationships with people and seeing them do well or improve their health.
Dr. Harden sees adults for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness, including hypertension and diabetes. He is also very interested in working with athletes and the LGBTQIA+ population. He creates a very relaxed and friendly environment where he can work with his patients as a team. He sees himself as a resource, an educator and an advocate to help guide his patients throughout life. Dr. Harden encourages everyone to find something they love that brings more movement to their daily lives, recognizing the positive impact exercise has on overall health.
Dr. Harden grew up in St. Louis and came to Cincinnati for his residency. He enjoys running, lifting weights, playing volleyball and doing escape rooms with friends. He’s also a champion of afternoon naps.
